The
Drum Gathering of Jaguars and Daimlers
The Grampian Region of the Jaguar Enthusiasts' Club held it's 2nd Regional
Gathering of Jaguar and Daimler Cars on the 29th July 2001.


Going
from left to right above the best cars overall for the various years were
as follows:
1940's
- Jim Blackhall with his 1947 Jaguar Mk IV 1.5 litre
1950's - Bill Main with his 1953 Daimler Conquest
1960's - Colin Gibson with his 1966 Jaguar MkII Saloon
1970's - Tom Taylor with his recently restored 1973 E Type Series 3 Roadster
1980's - Ian Forbes with his 1983 Jaguar XJS V12 HE [no photo available]
1990's - Ian Gunn with his Jaguar XJS V12 Convertible
There
was also a prize for the car that travelled the furthest. This prize was
presented to Mr Pat Asher from Elgin with his 1970 Jaguar E Type series
II. The best car for the whole show went to Jim Blackhall for his 1940's
Jaguar MkIV 1.5 litre - well done to Jim.
