2003
Report and Events
Apologies
for not being able to attend the AGM were received from Jim Wiseman,
Roy Burnett and Richard Marsh.
Tom
reported that he had met with Graham Searle and Nigel Thorley at the
Classic Car Show at the NEC Centre, Birmingham on 09 November 2003.
Graham
agreed that he would be able to organise for the JEC Raffle Car to come
to Drum next year. Date to be confirmed with Graham. Also discussed
was the possibility of Graham or Nigel to give a talk or presentation
on the History of Jaguar or any aspect within that. Nigel would be able
to talk about specific models or Racing. Graham has recommended the
History of Jaguar, which is about 2 ½ hours long (with a break).
This would be one to invite Rossleigh Jaguar to or others interested
in car histories.
Graham would be able to talk about the history of the JEC Club, which
is again about 2 hours with questions. He has also developed a PowerPoint
presentation on the club's Jaguar memorabilia, which is about an hour
long.
Tom
agreed to make arrangements with Graham and Nigel for this to be included
in our 2004 events calendar
